Here is a 2007 Gibson SG Special with a gloss Cherry finish over the mahogany body. The SG Special is a tried and true model for those who want SG crunch without any added bells or whistles. This guitar has 490 humbuckers with added aftermarket covers, as well as changed out strap pins. There are some markings and dings around the body, and surface markings and light scuffing on the backside – none of which affects the playability. This guitar includes the original hardshell case.
